Corporate

GWM Editing ensures that your client, staff and stakeholder communications are clear and powerful. We provide a range of corporate services to support your branding and mission.

Attention to detail is important in all business activities. That’s especially true for writing, as the consequences of even minor errors can range from confusion to court.

We work on all types of documents, including consultancy, financial, tax, audit, annual and client reports, legal opinions, business correspondence, websites, manuals, handbooks, press releases, brochures, advertising, training materials and presentations.

Whether you need a final proofread by an attentive eye or significant rewriting of a technical document, we have the services, experience and dedication you need.

Whatever your general or in-house style requirements are, we ensure that all your documents are clear, concise and consistent, support your branding and contribute to your mission.

LET’S DISCUSS YOUR NEEDS

How we work

  • Identify your needs and how we can best address them.

  • Agree the services needed, style requirements, deadlines, contract details and the fee, then get started on the project.

  • We can work on any editable document format, but Microsoft Office and Google Docs are preferred.

  • All the changes we make to documents are identified (preferably using track changes). Your copyeditor may contact you for clarifications during the editing process.

  • All documents are returned with detailed feedback, reservations and requests for clarification, where required.

  • Once we’ve completed our draft edit, the document is returned for your review, with track changes, etc., our comments, reservations and related explanations, and a general description of what we’ve done.

  • Once you’ve had a chance to review our work, you can accept our changes and suggestions, and let us know that you’re entirely satisfied.

  • If you have any questions regarding our changes or want to discuss our reservations, we’ll schedule a message chat or phone call.

  • Once we’ve had that conversation and addressed any outstanding issues, we’ll make any further modifications necessary and send you the updated document.
